ABUJA, (CAJ News) – THE Speaker of the House Representatives, , has called on security agencies to provide adequate protection and cover to all camps
providing refuge to Boko Haram victims in the country.
This follows the deadly bombing at the country’s biggest such facility in Yola,
Adamawa State recently.
Some seven people were killed at the Malkohi Internally Displaced People`s (IDP’s) camp.
Dogara said he was highly disturbed by the bombing, which he described as “the
highest form of evil”.
He condoled with the families of the victims, government and people of Adamawa State
over the incident.
“The six years of violence has brought about untold hardship on hapless Nigerians
with thousands killed and millions displaced,” said Dogara.
He added, “This new dimension taken by the Boko Haram terrorists is yet highest form
of man`s inhumanity to man.”
The Speaker nonetheless commended the recent successes recorded by the Nigerian
military in recovering lost ground against the terrorists.
He urges the troops to sustain the momentum until Nigeria was cleared of the
