Probe demanded as Wike’s aide survives assassination

ABUJA, (CAJ News) – THE Rivers State Government has condemned the on Opunabo Inko-Tariah, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Nyesom Wike.

The State Deputy Governor, Ipalibo Harry Banigo called on the State Police Command to investigate the attempt.

It is alleged to have occurred along Israel – Ama Bridge, Buguma in Asari Tour Local Government Area.

Banigo expressed shock how gunmen would go after the life of an innocent man who had always conducted himself in the best moral and professional manner.

The Deputy Governor described Inko-Tariah as a devoted Christian,public crusader, astute lawyer and a renowned journalist whose interest in the overall development of the state is well known.

She advised political opponents to sheath their sword and join the Governor in rebuilding a new Rivers State for the interest of the people.
