ABUJA, (CAJ News) – TROOPS of the 112 Battalion and Special Forces in Mafa and Dikwa have killed a terrorist and discovered weapons during a raid at a Boko Haram camp at Bulungwa Naibe in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.

Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said items recovered included a Buffalo vehicle mounted with an anti-aircraft Gun, a rocket-propelled grenade, two machine guns and a
sub-machine gun.

Others include five AK-47 rifles, a Fabrique Nationale rifle and two sewing machines thought to be used for manufacturing uniforms for insurgents.

The raid at the camp comes at a time the troops have made strides against the Boko Haram insurgents in the North East.

They have in recent days destroyed such facilities as fuel depots which have been sustaining the insurgents’ resistance against the troops.
