Kayode-Beckley’s bribery probe deferred to September

ABUJA, (CAJ News) – THE fraud trial of Air Force leader, John Adeniyi  Kayode-Beckley, has been adjourned to September.

He will be back in court on the 27th of that month following the deferment of his probe at the Federal Capital Territory High Court, sitting in Gudu, Abuja on Wednesday.

Air Vice Marshal Kayode-Beckley appeared before Justice Olubunmi Banjokoon one a single count charge of bribery to the tune of N10 million.

It is alleged while serving as the Director of Armament with the Nigerian Airforce, allegedly collected the sum in question as gratification from a contractor, one Mr Hima Abubakar, of Societe D’Equipments Internationaux  Nig. Ltd.

The suspect is among high-ranking officials that have en arraigned as part of President Muhammadu Buhari’s crusade to address rampant corruption.
