ABUJA, (CAJ News) – TROOPS of 33 Brigade Nigerian Army have arrested a man suspected of supplying kidnappers in Bauchi State with illegal drugs and liquor.

Named as Jibrin Dakam, he has been arrested in Toro Toro Local Government  Area (LGA).

Director Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, said  preliminary investigations confirmed the suspect escaped from a den at  Jenge following the military operation in Forest Kunama at Lame-Burra Forest recently.

“It was further confirmed that he frequently supply alcohol and other stimulants to the kidnappers,” said Usman.

Meanwhile, troops have deployed at Forward Operation Base (FOB) have arrested two suspected kidnappers at Badiko village along Gumau road in Toro.

They have been named as Dayibu Abdullahi and Nasiru Adamu.
