ABUJA, (CAJ News) – AKWA Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, hashighlighted some projects his administration had embarked on 100 days intooffice.
He has presented the achievements during a special thanksgiving service tomark one hundred days of his administration held at Government House inUyo.The Governor expressed appreciation to God for sustaining the divinemandate which he said had translated into ground breaking for industries,roads construction, remodeling of some Urban Centres as well as thenumerous investors that have indicated interest to establish in the state.
He said his administration is upgrading physical structures at St Luke’sHospital Anua Uyo to enable it provide world-class health Care services tothe people and announced plans to name the 100-bed space ward underconstruction after the renowned Irish gynecologist, Dr Ann Ward.He said the gesture is a modest attempt at immortalising the missionaryfor her contributions towards the development of the hospital.
Meanwhile, the governor also commended his Personal Assistant on LocalMedia, Uko Umoh, for compiling his 100 days achievements in a publication.He also made a presentation of an undisclosed amount for the welfare ofwidows and orphans in the state.Emmanuel thanked the people for the mandate given him to serve and suedfor the cooperation of all for the sustenance of the vision of the divinemandate.
