She bemoaned it was heartbreaking to see an innocent boy go through such a near death experience.
The wife of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello nonetheless expressed happiness the boy was still alive.
She assured everything would be done to bring the perpetrator of the alleged act to justice.
“Machinery has already been put in motion to ensure the boy receives the best medical attention possible, so he can recover very quickly,” said the First Lady.
She appealed to members of the public to always exercise restraint when they are angry, so that innocent children or even adults don’t become unfortunate victims of unwarranted violence.
It is unclear if the alleged culprit has been arrested.
The news comes weeks after a 21-month-old was severely mutilated by his stepmother in Kano.
